More Than Saved - Sent
“We too may live a new life.”
Mark 10:45
“The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.”
John 20:21
“As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
Read This Out Loud
You were not just rescued from something.
You were rescued for something.
You are not just forgiven.
You are sent.
The Devotional
Most men see salvation as the finish line.
The end of sin.
The end of guilt.
But in Scripture, salvation is a beginning.
God doesn’t just save you from your past, He sends you into purpose.
“We too may live a new life.” (Romans 6:4)
That new life isn’t passive.
It’s lived on mission.
The Shift
Many men receive grace…. but never step into assignment.
They get saved, but never get sent.
And over time, faith becomes:
- passive
- stagnant
- unclear
Because unused calling creates internal confusion.
Jesus Set the Pattern
“The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.” (Mark 10:45)
“As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” (John 20:21)
This is not a suggestion.
This is your identity.
The Truth
If you don’t live on mission, you will default to living for yourself.
And self-centered living always leads to emptiness.
You weren’t made to consume.
You were made to contribute.
Reflection
- Where have I chosen comfort over calling?
- Where am I consuming but not contributing?
- What is God already putting in front of me to step into?
